Noemi Priolo's 'ErbaLuce' at Bubble Space Venice

Noemi Priolo (Palermo, 1990) presents 'ErbaLuce', a solo exhibition at Bubble Space in Venice, curated by Vincenzo Alessandria, running until November 22, 2026. The show features an immersive environment where sculptures form a single ecosystem, blurring boundaries between natural and artificial. The centerpiece is a large sculpture of an imaginary plant inspired by wild thistle, made from lava stone, aluminum, and glass, with flowers shaped like praying hands. The series 'Amor Mundi' includes nine insect-like sculptures, referencing Hannah Arendt's concept of love for the world. The exhibition closes with '965', an accumulative work suggesting infinite growth. Priolo, trained at Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo and influenced by her time in the UK, uses materials like resin, glass, metal, fur, and found objects to create hybrid forms that oscillate between attraction and unease.
