NOA Designs Subterranean Kids Club at Schlosshotel Fiss
NOA has designed a new experiential area for children and teenagers at Schlosshotel Fiss in Fiss, Tyrol, Austria. The project, currently under construction and set to complete in winter 2027, features a semi-subterranean volume inspired by alpine caves, fissures, and ice crystals. The design includes two light-filled courtyards, a 50-meter slide, a double slide, a bumper car track, rope courses, a ninja parkour circuit, a climbing area, and a children's academy focused on creativity. The architecture uses earth-toned exposed concrete with triangular geometric patterns, while interiors evolve from stone and metal in lower levels to wood and warmer tones above. The Kids Club opened in December 2024 as the first interior intervention, with the larger complex beginning construction in April 2026.
