NO SHOW Takes Over Kanal-Centre Pompidou with Immersive Art and Performance

exhibition · 2026-10-10

From 28 November 2026 to 17 January 2027, Kanal-Centre Pompidou in Brussels hosts NO SHOW, an exhibition that turns five rooms into an immersive journey combining art, light, sound and performance. The venue, located at Square Sainctelette 21, 1000 Brussels, occupies the site of the city's first amusement park, a history the project explicitly recalls. The show asks whether a museum can entertain, a question posed against that former fairground context. The duo Deborah Bowmann, musician Maoupa Mazzocchetti and around twenty artists based in Brussels contribute across the five rooms, with live performances scheduled on weekends in December. NO SHOW is described as the most festive offering of the opening season and the only one sold separately. The exhibition is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–19:00, with late opening on Thursday until 22:00. Admission is €14, or €24 for a combo covering all exhibitions. The presentation runs alongside other exhibitions in Belgium and across Europe.
