Nisey Garcia Named Featured Artist in Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery Showcase

Nisey Garcia, a talented visual artist from Las Vegas, has been selected as the featured artist at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery for a two-week showcase. This recognition comes after she finished as one of the top twelve finalists in the gallery's 34th Solo Art Exhibition Series. Her work will gain significant attention through major news outlets and the gallery's social media. Garcia's artistic focus includes oil, acrylic, charcoal, and mixed media, often exploring expressive portraiture and figurative art that incorporates organic elements and symbolism. Her pieces have been exhibited across Southern Nevada, including venues like the Boulder City Art Guild. In 2026, she won the Mayor's Choice Award for her piece, Echoes of Her Memory, at the City Light Art Gallery. She has also received the Spotlight NV award from the Nevada Arts Council. With training in oil painting and drawing from the Milan Art Institute, she is now part of Evolve, a year-long art education program by Kevin Murphy. Her art reflects themes of emotion, transformation, femininity, and resilience, aiming to portray vulnerability, strength, and self-discovery.
