exhibition · 2026-09-29

The Design Museum, in collaboration with Olympia London, is hosting 'Nigo: From Japan With Love,' marking the inaugural retrospective of designer Nigo, who is the current artistic director of Kenzo and the founder of A Bathing Ape and Human Made. This complimentary exhibition is available daily on Canvas, Olympia's 83-meter digital display, highlighting Nigo's cultural blends and partnerships with artists such as Pharrell Williams. In other news, Hildy Kuryk has been appointed as interim CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America following Steven Kolb's departure. Additionally, a rare David Hockney artwork, 'Dog Painting 17' (1995), is set to be auctioned at Christie's London on October 14, with an estimated value of £1.5 million–£2.5 million. On September 1, Filipina artist Imelda Cajipe Endaya was honored with the title of National Artist of the Philippines for Visual Arts.
