New York City Street Art Features Tributes to Music Icons and Cultural Figures

Multiple street art murals have appeared across New York City, featuring works by various artists. Shepard Fairey created a tribute to the Beastie Boys on East 14th Street in 2023, organized by the Lisa Project NYC. Other pieces include a memorial wall for DJ Kay Slay by Trace1 and Drepstah in East Harlem, Jerkface's Beavis and Butt-Head installation at the Bushwick Collective, and Joe Iurato's rooftop work at Taglialatella Galleries in Chelsea.
