New York Art Week 2020: Museum and Gallery Highlights

During New York's art week coinciding with the Armory Show, numerous museums and galleries opened major exhibitions. At the Met Breuer, a large Gerhard Richter retrospective features over 100 works including the Cage and Birkenau series, both shown in the US for the first time. The Ford Foundation presents 'Per(Sister): Incarcerated Women' about female incarceration in Louisiana. Italian institutions feature Bruno Gambone ceramics at the Consulate and Vico Magistretti design at the Italian Cultural Institute.
