New Ontinyent Hospital by Contell Martínez and Manuel Vega Arquitectos

Located in the Casa Balones industrial estate in Ontinyent, Valencia, Spain, the new Hospital de Ontinyent was crafted by Contell Martínez Arquitectos and Manuel Vega Arquitectos. Spanning 28,006 square meters, it was finalized in March 2024. The architectural design showcases a six-story facade to the north, complemented by one- to two-story structures on the south, incorporating a public plaza and light-filled patios. The facility features two underground levels dedicated to services and parking, ensuring separate pathways for pedestrians and vehicles. The architectural team consists of Mª Dolores Contell Jurado, Juan Miguel Martínez López, and Manuel Vega Uyá, with contributions from Fco. Javier Cases Beltrán, María Lamela Martín, and Leing, S.L. The project is promoted by the Conselleria de Sanitat, with construction by OHLA.
