Neil Logan designs monastic Hudson Valley retreat

Architect Neil Logan has designed a monastic residential campus in Accord, New York, for an existing client. The project, initiated during the pandemic, includes a 1,000-square-foot guesthouse and an 860-square-foot studio for piano practice and writing, with a third, larger residence planned. The buildings are spread across the site like a summer camp, with the studio a 30-second walk away. Logan also took on the neighbor as another client.
