Nature Unbound Exhibition Opens in Armenia for Cyprus EU Presidency

On June 12, 2026, at 7 PM, Armenia will kick off a group exhibition called 'Nature Unbound, Between Remedy and Poison' (Ályti Phýsi: Fármako kai Farmáki). Curated by Artemis Eleftheriadou, this exhibition is part of the cultural events organized for Cyprus's Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026. It explores nature's significance in political, cultural, and symbolic contexts, drawing on Jacques Derrida's concept of pharmakon from 'Plato's Pharmacy,' which illustrates its dual nature as both a cure and a toxin. The show will feature twelve artists, including Armen Hakobjanyan and Carla Abrantes, with the poster created by artemiseleftheriadou.studios and project management handled by George Lazoglou.
