exhibition · 2026-07-22

Due to high interest, the National Portrait Gallery in London has extended the hours for 'Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait.' Launched in June to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Monroe's birth, this exhibition delves into her life, career, and enduring impact through various photographs and portraits. The gallery will now be open until 9 pm every Thursday in August, in addition to its regular late openings on Fridays and Saturdays. The exhibition will be available until 10th January 2027. Furthermore, the gallery is offering Marilyn-themed experiences, including cocktails at Larry's Bar, featuring the award-winning 'Monroe' cocktail, and a special summer menu at The Portrait Restaurant with Monroe's preferred champagne, Piper-Heidsieck. Events throughout August will include tastings and curator-led tours.
