Nathan Grey's 'as it is' at Handmark Gallery

Tasmanian figurative painter Nathan Grey presents new works in 'as it is' at Handmark Gallery, running from 19 June to 13 July 2026. The exhibition features paintings mostly done from life, emphasizing minimal marks to capture gaze, gesture, and mood. Grey describes the process as a problem-solving exercise where proportion, colour, and tone are critical. He notes that removing a mark can be more significant than adding one.
