Nathalie Basoski's 'Let the Grass Grow' at Reform Architecture Gallery

The exhibition 'Nathalie Basoski: Let the Grass Grow' is on view at Reform Architecture Gallery in the South Bronx from April 3 to June 11, 2026. Reform Architecture, founded in 2019 by Karim Ahmed and Dionisio Cortes Ortega, is an architecture firm that doubles its office as an exhibition space for contemporary artists. This is the firm's third exhibition. The show features Dutch-Macedonian artist Nathalie Basoski (b. 1995), who combines photography and textiles to explore the instability of memory. Works include 'Outside In' (2026), 'Could Have Dreamt It Was Real' (2025), 'Waiting to Forget' (2026), 'Inside Out' (2026), and 'Yesteryear' (2023). The pieces use sublimation inks on canvas, silk organza, vintage French linen, cotton, denim, and coffee-dyed linen. The review highlights the collaged aesthetic and the way works change appearance depending on viewing angle and natural lighting from a skylight.
