Natasha Lelenco Turns Migrant Voices into Visual and Sonic Installation at Universidade de Vigo's Ourense Campus
On display at the Sala Alterarte on the Universidade de Vigo's Ourense campus is Natasha Lelenco's LSYTSDA (Lo siento, yo tampoco soy de aquí), which showcases painting, video, and sound that explore themes of migration and identity. This project draws from interviews with a variety of individuals, weaving their personal stories into a shared narrative. A fifteen-minute audiovisual segment features a blend of voices and portraits designed for deep listening. The coin serves as a representation of value and identity. This marks the inaugural exhibition of LSYTSDA, which aims to grow with additional testimonies and formats. A production phase is set for Museo Etnolóxico de Ribadavia, followed by two phases in Cono Sur in 2027, in partnership with MUMI and MUNTREF. The exhibition is open until 13 November 2026.
