Naomi Scott, known for acting in Aladdin and Smile 2, has released her debut album F.I.G. in March 2025 on an independent label. The 29-minute record blends R&B, alternative pop, soul, and funk, drawing comparisons to Janet Jackson, Prince, and Solange. Scott is currently on a seven-city U.S. tour, followed by European festivals and a support slot for Jessie Ware's U.K. arena tour. Her live show features minimal backing musicians, on-stage costume changes, and covers of New Edition and Anita Baker. Music videos, co-directed with creative director Katharina Korbjuhn and husband Jordan Spence, emphasize low-budget, organic aesthetics. Scott describes the album as a "girl in process" and emphasizes word-of-mouth growth over marketing spend.
