NAAW Designs JER Café Inside Almaty's Tselinny Center
NAAW has completed the interior design of JER café within the Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The 150 m² coffee shop interior was curated by Miwa Negoro and led by architect Elvira Bakubayeva, with lead team member Aisulu Uali and design team member Victoria Akram. Technical support came from Akmaral Mendygarina and Daniyar Almagambetov. The project used products from Aq Objects and Artek. Photographs were taken by Damir Otegen. The café is part of a larger transformation of the former Soviet-era Tselinny cinema into a contemporary art center led by Asif Khan Studio. The project was completed in 2025.
