Na Mira's NO SMOKING Opens at MoMA's Kravis Studio in November 2026
Na Mira's media installation, titled NO SMOKING, is set to debut at The Museum of Modern Art on November 14, 2026, and will be on display until February 15, 2027, in the Marie-Josée and Henry Kravis Studio. This marks Mira's inaugural solo exhibition at a museum in New York and her most extensive showcase to date. Through diverse media, she explores themes of image creation and the manipulation of perception. The footage was captured during the summer of 2025 at Fort Bliss army base and White Sands Missile Range. New pieces featured include BLISS BLISS (2026) and MANHATTAN MANHATTAN (2026). MoMA connects the installation to Korean shamanism and animism, intending to challenge the authenticity of images employed in statecraft. The Kravis Studio emphasizes experimental performance and moving images.
