NA Design Studio Clads Brooklyn Residential Tower in Multi-Coloured Glen-Gery Bricks
Located at 540 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, the eight-storey residential structure showcases a vibrant mix of earth-toned bricks crafted by NA Design Studio. These Danish bricks, part of Glen-Gery's Cushwa Series, display shades of red, beige, and grey with a sandy texture. The building's facade features a vertical running bond pattern alongside horizontal protrusions, with the brickwork installed on insulation boards. Floor-to-ceiling windows reach up to the fifth floor, while the upper levels feature symmetrical stepped setbacks that form outdoor terraces. This development comprises 159 residential units and 4,843 square feet designated for commercial use on the ground floor. Glen-Gery boasts over 600 brick products, with recent applications in a Maryland high-rise and a New Jersey home by Studio PHH. Photography by Glen-Gery; content produced by Dezeen.
