Museum at FIT Explores Doll Fashion, Gustaf Westman x Nike, RIMOWA's Der Eigene, and Jeff Koons x Hublot
The Museum at FIT in New York is hosting "Doll Dressing," an exhibition curated by Dr. Colleen Hill, which displays over 170 items that demonstrate the influence of dolls on fashion. This showcase includes fashion dolls, clothing, and creations from renowned designers such as Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, and Louis Vuitton, reflecting trends that spread across Europe prior to the rise of Instagram. The exhibition will be open until January 3, 2027. In another project, Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has teamed up with Nike to create a ceramic homeware line featuring a pastel-pink Swoosh sculpture. Additionally, RIMOWA has launched the fifth edition of "Der Eigene," with photographer Ryan McGinley documenting New York's queer community. Jeff Koons has collaborated with Hublot to produce the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog watch, priced at $25,100, which includes bulbous shapes and a small Balloon Dog.
