Museu do Amanhã Launches Sculpture Garden with Eight Works by Brazilian Artists
The Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro will unveil its new Sculpture Garden on September 17, situated in Praça Mauá and accessible to the public at no cost. This launch aligns with the inaugural Semana de Arte do Rio, and the sculptures will be displayed for a minimum of one year. Titled "A cidade entre o jardim e a Baía," the initial exhibition showcases eight sculptures by artists Amílcar de Castro, Carlos Vergara, Siwaju, and José Resende. Castro contributes four steel sculptures, which include a geometric portal and a large figure overlooking Guanabara Bay. Vergara features two works from "Natureza Inventada," while Siwaju pays tribute to João Cândido Felisberto with "ATMOS ISINMI."
