Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga presents Tangentes, a 2026 performance cycle linking dance and visual arts

The Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga will host Tangentes, a performance cycle connecting contemporary dance and performance practices with visual arts. Running from April 15 to May 6, 2026, the program features three distinct works. On April 15, La Yunta, the duo of Verónica Ruth Frías and Niche Ramírez, presents La Cosecha, the second piece in a trilogy exploring cyclical agricultural time. Melisa Calero performs La gloria on April 29, framing vulnerability as an act of resistance in a cathartic ritual. Cristina Savage concludes the series on May 6 with Primigenia, a live sculptural and pictorial performance. Each event begins at 21:00 hours. Ticket prices are set at 12 euros for individual shows or 24 euros for a three-performance pass. Online reservations are required and include museum admission to view the Archipiélago exhibition, which inspired the cycle's thematic parallels across different artistic languages.
