Musée d'Orsay Monet Centenary: In-Gallery Display and Jenny Holzer Intervention

In celebration of Claude Monet's 100th anniversary, the Musée d'Orsay in Paris will present "Je passe ma vie à peindre" from September 30, 2026, to January 25, 2027. This exhibition will feature approximately thirty masterpieces within the Impressionist galleries, highlighting recent restorations and scientific studies conducted by the C2RMF, which shed light on Monet's techniques. Five key works will showcase his revisions and uncertainties, with contributions from restorer Bénédicte Trémolières. Additionally, Jenny Holzer's "J'AI VU" will launch on October 20, 2026, featuring LED displays and benches with inscriptions. During the same timeframe, the Musée de l'Orangerie will host "Monet, peindre le temps," while the 2027 Festival Normandie Impressionniste will focus on "Le Jardin de Monet à Giverny."
