Multitasking furniture for 24sqm London micro-apartment

British studio Intervention Architecture has renovated a 24-square-meter micro-apartment in a 1930s residential building in London, installing a single multitasking plywood unit across three walls. The oil-treated poplar plywood piece incorporates a desk, a bookshelf with an arch motif echoing the building's Art Deco architecture, and hides a fold-down bed and a table. The only freestanding piece is a custom-designed sofa on wheels that doubles as bed support. The studio, founded by Anna Parker in 2015, specializes in residential projects and custom interior solutions.
