Multistudio unveils design for Eisenhower Education Center in Abilene, Kansas
Multistudio, a firm based in Kansas City recognized as AN's 2025 Best Practice of the Year in the Midwest, has released designs for the 14,000-square-foot Eisenhower Education Center on the Eisenhower Presidential Campus in Abilene, Kansas. Situated between the family burial site and the Eisenhower Presidential Library, the center will showcase a facade made of Kansas limestone, a cantilevered roof with bronze edges, and a central 'Exploration Hub' designed for K-12 students. It will feature a replica of Eisenhower's Oval Office and an immersive theater. Additionally, a 'Global Studio' will facilitate remote learning for the Eisenhower Foundation's 'IKEducation' program. Construction is set to begin this summer, with a target opening in June 2027.
