MOVS Studio Designs Blu Pizzeria Jeddah Interior Around the Wind of the Red Sea Port

architecture-design · 2026-10-23

MOVS Studio completed the interior of a Blu pizzeria branch in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, shaping the 335-square-metre space around wind — the element the studio identifies with the Red Sea port city. The restaurant occupies a corner unit with a curved glass facade, and a terrace runs along the glazing. Behind the terrace, the plan opens into a large hall, while the kitchen, storage area, staff rooms and restrooms are consolidated into a compact service block at the rear. The design team comprised Artem Lebedev, Catherine Tarasova and Tatiana Kurochkina, with Ruben Movsisian and Ekaterina Tarasova as lead architects. Photography was by KeepLight, and Miwa Negoro curated the presentation. Blu operates as a chain in which each location draws its character from its host city. The project is dated 2026 and falls under the restaurant and bar interiors category.
