Mötz Fire Station and Community Hall by Imgang Architekten

In Mötz, Austria, Imgang Architekten has completed a fire station and community hall that consolidates civic functions into a single compact building. The 1,778 m² project houses a fire station, public library, district archive, club facilities, and a multi-purpose event space for up to 100 people. Designed from a winning competition entry in 2023, the building aims to foster interaction among diverse user groups while giving each function a distinct identity. Key architects are Simon Hölbling and Alexandra Schmid Roner, with project management by Kommpart and Design Konstruktion Neurauter. Engineering was provided by Ingenieurbüro Pratzer GmbH (MEP) and Fiby ZT GmbH (other). The client is the Municipality of Mötz. Photographs are by Günter Richard Wett.
