The Mosaic Apartments have officially opened in Pittsburgh's Oakland district, providing 48 affordable living spaces specifically for LGBTQIA+ seniors. This modern five-story facility was creatively designed by Rothschild Doyno Collaborative and showcases vibrant blue and green panels along with murals by artists Rosabel Rosalind and Pinaka Art. Development of this project drew inspiration from feedback from LGBTQIA+ senior communities and is a joint effort of the Housing Authority of Pittsburgh and Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, which oversees the apartments. Eligibility is set for individuals 62 and older, with income caps of $60,100 for individuals and $68,700 for couples.
