Morsa Taller and Pablo Giterman Convert Buenos Aires Factory Unit into 72m² Home

In Buenos Aires' Colegiales neighborhood, architects Morsa Taller and Pablo Giterman have transformed a former factory unit into a 72-square-meter home. The three-story building, originally converted into residences and offices in the 1990s, housed a two-level office space with an unusable rooftop terrace due to a curved concrete slab. The architects reconfigured the interior and accessed the terrace via a hatch door, turning the neglected area into a functional part of the dwelling. The project, completed in 2025, was led by Pablo Giterman and Alejandra Esteve, with photography by Javier Agustín Rojas. The design reimagines industrial heritage for contemporary living, emphasizing adaptive reuse in urban contexts.
