Moritz Adam Schmitt: From Digital Illustration to Canvas Painting

Cologne-based illustrator and artist Moritz Adam Schmitt, who has worked with Adobe and Microsoft since 2017, began his digital art journey in 2007 after discovering Photoshop. A pivotal moment came when he challenged himself to create one illustration daily for a year on Instagram, gaining over 20,000 followers and mastering Adobe Illustrator. This led to his participation in Adobe MAX in San Diego and collaborations with major international clients. His vibrant palette features bright yellows and soft pinks, influenced by Warhol and Basquiat. Recently, Schmitt has returned to painting on canvas, describing it as therapeutic and a medium to explore social themes like respect, freedom, and equality.
