Moradavaga's mobile urban connectors activate Vienna's Hirschstetten Living Lab
Moradavaga has unveiled 'The Outsiders,' a creation for ROOMING INN's Living Lab in Hirschstetten, Vienna. This innovative project features mobile, multifunctional urban furniture equipped with speaking and listening tubes. Situated in a repurposed kindergarten, the Living Lab also boasts a 3,000-square-meter garden that serves as a community gathering space. The objects designed by Moradavaga can extend their reach beyond the kindergarten into the surrounding neighborhood, fostering social interaction and participation. Collaborators on the project include Lola Burdin, Verena Maria Huber, Nina McNab, and Gabriel Waringer, with support from the City of Vienna and designboom.
