Montalba Architects Renovates 1962 Edward Durrell Stone Building in Beverly Hills

Montalba Architects completed a historical renovation of the 1962 Edward Durrell Stone Building at 9720 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills in 2022. The project, finished in 2023, transformed the basement level by adding a light-filled garden atrium and a sculpture defining the plaza. The renovation covers 20,500 m² and involved structural engineer Labib Funk + Associates, MEP engineer BuroHappold Consulting, landscape architect OJB Landscape Architecture, lighting designer Sean O’Connor Lighting, contractor Del Amo Construction, and waterproofing consultant Simpson Gumpertz & Heger.
