Monet's Le Havre roots explored at MuMa

The exhibition at the Musée d'art moderne André Malraux (MuMa) in Le Havre brings together a significant number of paintings by Claude Monet linked to the city of his childhood and his first collectors. Curator Géraldine Lefebvre has assembled works that trace Monet's formative years and his early patronage in Le Havre, where he grew up and first developed his artistic practice.
