Mitchell Johnson's Truro Paintings at Castle Hill

From September 8 to 20, the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill showcases a solo exhibition featuring the artwork of Mitchell Johnson. This marks Johnson's sixth solo display at Castle Hill, where he conducts a master color class every September. The exhibition includes his recent pieces, early works from Truro, and his inaugural New England painting, "Fall (Tabor Academy)" created in 1988. Accompanying the exhibition is a new publication titled "Mitchell Johnson: Twenty-One Years in Truro." Johnson has been making annual painting trips to Cape Cod since May 2005. Public events consist of an artist reception on September 10 and an artist talk on September 11. The gallery operates Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and weekends from 12 PM to 4 PM.
