Miriam Castells Designs 6,600 m² Senior Housing Interior at Mirador de Gràcia in Barcelona

Miriam Castells, an architect hailing from Barcelona, has introduced the interior design for the Mirador de Gràcia, a senior living community that covers 6,600 m² near Collserola Natural Park. This project, set to be finished in 2025, aims to connect Barcelona's urban environment with nature, creating a welcoming space for older adults. Castells emphasizes that these residences should feel like home. The presentation was curated by Valentina Díaz, with Castells leading a talented team including Georgina Vera, Núria Ballesteros, and Alba Batlle from Studio Canvas. Various firms contributed to engineering and consulting, while landscape design and lighting were managed by Asilvestrada, Massoni, and La Invisible. The project falls under health architecture and sustainability.
