Mini Countryman Untamed Edition Tested on Nevada Trails
Mini has unveiled the Countryman Untamed Edition, which boasts a 15mm lift in suspension, Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires, and distinctive 19-inch wheels, along with two new paint options, one being the matte Frozen Nomad Blue. The cabin features durable materials, such as rubber floor mats and a woven bicolour dashboard trim. Holger Hampf, head of Mini's design team, took cues from the Mini Strip concept by Sir Paul Smith and the original Mini's triumphs at the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965, and 1967. The adventure theme is further emphasized through a collaboration with Helinox. This edition will be offered with EV, hybrid, or ICE powertrains. A local guide praised it during a test drive in Nevada. The US ranks as Mini's third-largest market.
