Ming Xi Wears Jonathan Anderson's First Custom Dior Wedding Dress at Mont Saint-Michel

Model Ming Xi married entrepreneur and Boston Celtics co-owner Mario Ho on June 1, 2026, at Mont Saint-Michel Abbey in Normandy, France. The wedding was the first held at the abbey in over 1,000 years, requiring a year of approvals from the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. Ming Xi wore a custom Dior wedding dress designed by Jonathan Anderson, marking his first-ever custom bridal gown for Dior. The dress was inspired by Magdalene Odundo's ceramic works and featured an open back with piano wire structure, wild silk charmeuse, and Dior's signature buttons. She accessorized with a 52-carat Graff diamond necklace and matching studs. For the dinner reception in Deauville, she changed into a vintage Chanel haute couture pearl dress from 1989, her birth year, paired with her mother-in-law Angela Leong's Australian white South Sea pearl necklace, Graff earrings, and a Patek Philippe watch. The evening concluded with a Givenchy dress from Sarah Burton's spring 2026 collection. The wedding was planned by the Wedding Company Hong Kong by Michele Li, with floral design by Kiana Underwood of Tulipina and photography by Jose Villa. The couple met in Shanghai in 2017 and got engaged in 2019 at L'Avenue Shanghai.
