Miles Aldridge Brings Free Technicolor Photo Show to Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme During Art Basel Paris
From October 19 to December 1, 2026, British fashion photographer Miles Aldridge presents "Entrances and Exits" at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, 5 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris. Curated by Constance Breton, the free exhibition spans the hotel lobby, corridors, and Café Jeanne, featuring series such as Doors, The Rooms, New Utopias, A Precious Glam, and 3-D. Most works have never been shown in France. Aldridge, son of graphic designer Alan Aldridge, has shot for Vogue Italia since the mid-1990s, creating Technicolor scenes with perfect housewives and unsettling details; he still works on film. His prints are held by the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, Palais Galliera, and the International Center of Photography in New York. All exhibited works are for sale. A paid bonus, the 15 Minutes of Fame Polaroid Project, runs October 20–22, 10am–8pm in the Suite Impériale. For €450 per session (not per person), up to four participants pose for 15 minutes against an orange pleated curtain with vintage telephone, popcorn, and cocktail glass. Aldridge directs, and each receives about ten selected, signed Polaroids, digitized and sent afterward. Reservations are on the artist's website and are expected to fill quickly. The hotel has previously hosted Helmut Newton and Ellen von Unwerth. The event coincides with Art Basel Paris.
