Milan's First Permanent Quiet Room Opens at BASE Milano, Designed by Studiolatte and Slalom Acoustics
In a groundbreaking initiative, Studiolatte and Slalom Acoustics partnered with BASE Milano to unveil Milan's inaugural permanent Quiet Room within a public venue. This newly launched space offers visitors an opportunity to pause, breathe, pray, or find tranquility. Emphasizing accessibility and inclusion, it aligns with the 'Un'I.D.E.A. di Centro Culturale' manifesto. The room is designed with a textile canopy, acoustic enhancements, adjustable lighting, and adaptable elements to cater to various activities. Its design recalls a childhood refuge, featuring soft surfaces and versatile layouts.
