other · 2026-09-15

During New York Fashion Week, two finalists for the 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund presented their work. On Friday, George Inaki from Milamore hosted a matcha event at Sorate, unveiling a collection influenced by kintsugi, which included a signature kintsugi necklace, a heart pendant, and a silver puzzle chain necklace. A tea master adorned the kintsugi necklace along with an upcycled kimono shirt, while Inaki showcased a divorce ring crafted from his engagement ring. The following day, Juju Ferentinos launched her Juju Vera studio in Manhattan, presenting the Penelope earrings, Valentina belt, and Carolyn Pendant. She collaborated with artist Joseph Kester for a mosaic floor and introduced high jewelry pieces inspired by fishing nets, including an ear cuff, drawing inspiration from figures like Maria Agnelli.
