Michel Architects Restores Lloyd Wright's De Jonghe Residence in LA

Michel Architects has completed the restoration of the De Jonghe Residence, a 1959 house designed by Lloyd Wright in the hills of Los Angeles. The project, covering 1749 ft², was led by principal architect Rob Michel with a design team including Jason Atkins, Isaac Li, and Majd Raaiq. Landscape architecture was handled by AJ Canfield Landscape Design, interior design by Davide Rizzo, and civil engineering by Feffer Geological Consulting Inc. The restoration preserved the original exposed concrete with plank texture, deep overhangs, and integrated landscape, maintaining the serene authority of Wright's vision.
