MFA Boston Highlights: 9 Must-See Works from Renoir to Samurai Armor

The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (MFA) houses a remarkable collection that traces back over 5,000 years of art. Among its highlights is Pierre-Auguste Renoir's 'Dance at Bougival' (1883), showcasing model Suzanne Valadon, painted in Bougival, near Paris. John Singer Sargent's 'The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit' (1882) features four sisters with Japanese vases. You can also find Paul Revere's silver tea set from around 1773–75, a testament to Colonial artistry. The Egyptian collection includes the coffin of Nesmut (circa 950 BC), excavated with Harvard's help.
