Metabones Unveils EF-X Adapters with TruePDAF for Fujifilm Cameras
Metabones has launched four new EF-X mount adapters designed for Fujifilm X Series cameras, incorporating TruePDAF Technology for enhanced phase-detect autofocus. This innovative technology, first seen in EF-MFT adapters last June, utilizes lens profile data for over 100 Canon EF-mount lenses. Compatible Fujifilm models include the X-H series, X-T2 and newer, and X-Pro2 and newer. The Cine Speed Booster Ultra, which decreases the crop factor from 1.5x to 1.07x, is priced at $699, while the standard Speed Booster costs $649. The Smart Adapters are available for $399 and $449 for the Cine version, featuring a positive-locking mechanism. An upgrade for existing EF-X adapters requires an internal circuit swap.
