Meredith Virnig on Building an Art Collection with Her Husband in Miami

Meredith Virnig, a 40-year-old collector based in Miami and a former Salesforce employee, shares insights on curating a vibrant collection of emerging art alongside her husband, software investor Chip Virnig. She highlights the necessity of consulting him before making art purchases, a lesson learned from an early misstep. Virnig acknowledges the influence of art consultant Pilar Vahey and friend Kat Herriman in her journey through the art scene. Among her notable acquisitions was a piece obtained from a waitlist at Art Basel. Currently, she is eager to incorporate sculpture into her Miami Beach garden.
