festival-fair · 2026-04-15

On June 6, 2026, Medina, New York, will host the first Medina Triennial, titled 'All That Sustains Us.' Curators Kari Conte and Karin Laansoo have organized an exhibition featuring 39 artists from five continents, displaying over 100 works across various local sites. This event explores the roles of labor, knowledge, and dedication in supporting civic life and ecological systems, with a focus on land relations and the construction of the public sphere. Funded by the New York Power Authority and the New York State Canal Corporation, the exhibition promotes community involvement and reduced environmental impact. Artists, including Lina Lapelytė, Tania Candiani, and Asad Raza, developed their projects through a Fieldwork residency program.
