Martha Beatriz House Renovation in Cuenca by Atempo Arquitectura
Atempo Arquitectura has completed the renovation and expansion of Martha Beatriz House, a 402 m² residence in the Historic Center of Cuenca, Ecuador. The project, named after developer Martha Beatriz Cardoso Faicán, emphasizes heritage value alongside spatial, material, and emotional qualities. Lead architects Juan José Valdiviezo and Camila Jimenez oversaw the design, with contributions from resident engineer Jean Carlos Saavedra, planimetry and municipal management by Mariana Camila Perez Calle, planimetry by Joseline Pesantez and Karol Paucay, structural design by Paul Orellana, electrical design and fire protection by Juan Guartan, electrical installation by Milton Pesantez, hydrosanitary study by Ximena Martinez, and landscaping by Jacquie Fawcet.
