Mariel Lozano Studio Designs San Luis Stays Apartment in Mexico City's Roma Norte
In Mexico City, Mariel Lozano Studio has finalized the interiors and tailored furnishings for a one-bedroom apartment spanning 50 square meters in Roma Norte, named San Luis. This marks the inaugural property for Stays, a hospitality initiative by Mad Monk Studios. The design team focused on a “conceptual reset” to elevate the guest experience. Space optimization is achieved through fixed furniture, including teak paneling and custom pieces such as an L-shaped sofa and a unique bed frame. The headboard features an integrated audio system with curated playlists by Mad Monk Studios. A wooden sliding partition divides the bedroom from the living space, both of which lead to a small balcony. The kitchen showcases white cabinets paired with black countertops, and decorative elements include a vintage ashtray by Isamu Kenmochi. Photography is credited to Fabián Martínez.
