Marcello Vigoni's POSTSISTEMI Opens at Ex Copertificio Sonnino in Besozzo

On June 19, artist and photographer Marcello Vigoni inaugurated the exhibition POSTSISTEMI. Tracce di eredità at the Ex Copertificio Sonnino in Besozzo, Italy. The show is the first chapter of a multi-year cultural regeneration project titled "Arte e cultura tra fiume e fabbrica: innesti creativi," promoted by the Comune di Besozzo in partnership with Techne Art Service and funded by Fondazione Cariplo through its Luoghi da rigenerare call. The former industrial complex, originally a watermill system along the Bardello river and later a textile factory, serves as both venue and subject. Vigoni's site-specific works—including Identità, Soglia, and Egosistema Bardello—address themes of industrial decline, memory, identity, and environmental sustainability. Identità features faceless figures evoking generations of female workers, while Soglia uses textile waste to critique overproduction. Egosistema Bardello symbolically reintroduces the river into the industrial space. The exhibition is open by appointment.
