Marcello Galleano's Transition from Business to Wildlife Photography

Italian photographer Marcello Galleano, 54, has shifted from a career in nutraceutical entrepreneurship to wildlife photography over the past decade. His work focuses on capturing animals at eye level in their natural habitats, using minimal backgrounds and controlled LED lighting to create intimate portraits. Galleano has traveled to over 89 countries, collaborating with conservation groups in Africa and South America. His recent nighttime photography in Africa has earned international awards. Future projects include expeditions to Ecuador for Andean bears and Mongolia for Pallas cats.
