MaPC Brings Native Windows PC Gaming to Apple Silicon Macs via Free Public Beta

architecture-design · 2026-10-16

Developed by the Abduzeedo team, MaPC facilitates seamless gaming on Apple Silicon Macs for native Windows platforms like Steam, Epic, and GOG, overcoming previous technical hurdles. Players can easily link their accounts and start gaming without needing Wine configurations. Built with macOS design principles, it steers clear of Electron wrappers, utilizing authentic layouts that honor typography and shortcuts. Game pages reflect colors from box art, and users can switch between magazine and glass panel views. MaPC processes DirectX 9, 10, and 11 calls via DXVK on Vulkan and Metal, supports DirectX 12 with D3DMetal, and includes options for MetalFX upscaling and ray tracing. It also provides cloud save backups to iCloud Drive. Currently, MaPC is available as a free public beta for macOS 15 or newer at mapc.games.
