Manycore Tech Advances Toward Hong Kong IPO as Spatial Intelligence Firm

Manycore Tech, a spatial intelligence software developer based in Hangzhou, has progressed toward an initial public offering in Hong Kong after successfully completing its listing hearing. The company, established in 2011 by three Chinese graduates from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign who also studied at Zhejiang University and Tsinghua University, focuses on integrating artificial intelligence with physical environments. Manycore is part of a notable group of emerging technology startups from Hangzhou known as the 'Six Little Dragons,' which includes AI developer DeepSeek, robotics companies Unitree Robotics and Deep Robotics, game creator Game Science, and neurotechnology firm BrainCo. The firm initially submitted its Hong Kong listing application in February of last year and provided revised documentation in August. Other members of this startup cohort are also pursuing public market opportunities: Unitree Robotics aims to list on Shanghai's Star Market with fundraising goals around 4.2 billion yuan, Deep Robotics has begun early regulatory procedures for a mainland listing, and BrainCo has reportedly submitted confidential Hong Kong listing paperwork. The remaining companies have not yet revealed their capital market strategies. Manycore's leadership team previously held positions at major technology corporations including Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon.
